Traveling along the country roads you can find some really interesting rock formations. Sometimes small, sometimes enormous, these rock formations can have crevices that animals use for shelter. This particular formation was very interesting, I thought there was an animal in the opening just looking out, but on closer examination I found it was just a weed. I often find some very interesting wildlife in these spots, it's good to remember in my area that rattlesnakes like these kinds of spots too!
The perfect photo can be found just about anywhere, when wildlife is involved the best photos come from being very patient and being very slow and quiet. Having very slow movements around wildlife will change how you will capture your wildlife photo. For example: This squirrel, I waited for quite a while and I only moved really slow near it.
