All aboard! Matthew's Digital Prints recent travels took us to Hood River, Oregon to ride the Polar Express train. The train ride was based of the popular animated Christmas movie "The Polar Express." Just like the movie, the conductor punched our golden tickets (but with our first initials), we were served hot chocolate by dancing chefs, and each of us received a silver bell from Santa's sleigh, from Santa himself! The conductor of the train looked as if he had just stepped out of the big screen, looking identical to the one in the movie. The only downfall was that the lights went out in our passenger car for most of the ride. However, the conductor's witty jokes, superb hole-punching skills, and sparkling personality made our day.
Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
A few days ago, our travels took us to Garfield County, Washington once again. Along our journey we came across a small herd of female white tail deer. One doe in particular was catching some serious air! In fact, she bounced around leaping so high it looked as if she would take flight. We believe that she was getting ready for tryouts for Santa's sleigh this year! How do you think she'll do?
